I've spent a lot of today/this afternoon looking at the Lomography community.

I like the philosophy of point-and-shoot behind Lomography. I shall have to practise more with my ColourSplash.

And now that I've finished reading Robert Capa's book on photojournalism during WW2, I can get stuck in Julius Shulman's book on architectural photography.

I finished reading the Robert Capa book I was given for my birthday. It was incredibly exciting and made me wish for more direction in my life.

I seem to spend my days contemplating just what to do with myself.

Since a Robert Capa photograph is the background of my journal, I thought I'd show some of his photographs.

The first I saw of Robert Capa was at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia in Madrid. They had a t section dedicated to his wartime photographs. There was one of a man with either his cello or his violin, I can’t remember which. ( Read more... )
